Hello, Strangers! Welcome to my website of the Snow Leopard. The Snow Leopard lives in the mountains of Central Asia. The leopard has thick hair protecting itself from the cold and has fur-covered feet, which acts like natural snowshoes. Snow Leopards mainly hunt the blue sheep and can kill their prey more than three times their body weight. Snow Leopards prefer to inhabit steep cliff areas and rocky outcrops. Such habitats provide them with the camouflage they need to ambush unsuspecting prey. There are around 4000 snow leopards left in this world, 600-900 of them are in zoo’s and the rest are wild.
